Mary Margaret (Peggy) Davis

DAVIS, Mary Margaret (Peggy), dear sister, mother and friend, age 71 of Oakwood passed away Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Heartland of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Kathleen McCormick; husband, Merrill Davis in 1996. Peggy was a resident of Oakwood for 45 years. She is survived by her children, Kathy Davis and husband Jeff Brown, Keith and Juanita Davis, Brian Davis and Corie Davis and husband Keeve Jaffe; grandchildren, Jael Jaffe, Rachael Jaffe, Nora Brown, Megan Hull and Ellen Hull; brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel McCormick, Joseph and Rose McCormick and James and Bunnie McCormick; sister, Bernadette and husband Tom Winsen ; beloved sisters-law, Phyllis Edminston, Janice Davis and Nancy Nyrop and husband Richard and dearly beloved friends, Katie Pretzinger and Nancy Cauley and a host of nieces and nephews. Peggy was a childcare professional who loved her charges as her own and whose love was returned by the children of Sara and Jeff Martin, Charlie, Sam and Joey and by the children of Pam and Carlo McGinnis, Ann, Claire, Craig, Marie and Janie. She was an Oakwood Athletic Booster, Cub Scout and Campfire Leader and a Smith Elementary School and Epilepsy Association of Western Ohio volunteer. Family will receive friends from 4-7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday with a reception to follow at the funeral home.
