Maynard J. Windows

WINDOWS, Maynard J. “Joe”, age 70, of Kettering passed away Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. Joe was a longtime member of St. Charles Catholic Church and member of the Fellowship Group. He was also a member of the Dayton Underground Grotto and an avid backpacker. Joe retired from IBM in 1991 after 33 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of over 48 years, Helen Windows; son; Joseph Windows of Kettering; 3 daughters, Michele (Danny) Elofskey of Beavercreek, Cathy (Pete) Boyle of Kettering and Angela (David) Connolly of Lansing, KS; 5 grandchildren, Brenton, Aubrey, Tony, Jack and Samantha; step grandchildren, Nathan, and Dillon; sister, Elaine (Greg) Flick of Rittman, OH; and 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd.
