Norma Carmilla Jacobs

JACOBS, Norma (Sena), age 83, of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016. She was born on October 19, 1932 to Rocco and Mary Sena in Richmond, IN. Norma attended St. Mary School and graduated from Richmond High School. She retired from Beavertown Elementary in Kettering, OH after 30 years as a Librarian. Norma taught English to Immigrants for 16 yrs. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Angelina Sena, Lena and Mary Imperial; brothers, Andrew Imperial of West Milton, OH, John Edward Sena, Nicolo Imperial of Richmond, IN. She is survived by her husband, Donald "Jake" of 61 years, her beloved sweetheart; children, Wesley (Ann) of Boise, ID, Christina (Greg) Carter of Centerville, OH, and Joseph Jacobs of Columbus, OH; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Cahill of Richmond, IN and Joan Hopkins of Indianapolis, IN; sister-in-law, Mary Galyon; many nieces and nephews; and her wonderful retired teachers group from Beavertown Elementary school in Kettering. Family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Immaculate Conception, 2300 Smithville Rd, Dayton with family greeting friends one hour before the service. Burial in David's Cemetery.
