Norma Irene Aleslagle

ALESLAGLE, Norma, age 87, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at her home in Kettering. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 21, 1927 to the late Charlie and Geneva Sizemore. Norma was a Life Member and a founding member of VFW Post #9927, member of American Legion #698, and member of Amvets Post #69. She was the owner of Kettering Arts and Crafts shop for 20 years. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Aleslagle; her grandson, Edward Shepler III, and sons, Timothy Wayne and Barry Lee Aleslagle. Norma is survived by her loving children, Henry Brian (Shelley) Aleslagle of Kettering, OH and Cheryl (Edward, Jr.) Shepler of Ida, MI; grandchildren, Brian David Aleslagle, Jeffrey A Shepler; and great-grandchildren, Edward IV, Alison Paige, and Phoebe Shay Shepler. Family will greet friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday, March 16, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home (2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering). A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at the funeral home on the same day. Burial will follow at Beavertown Cemetery, Kettering.
