Paul E. Sullenger

SULLENGER, Paul E., age 50, of Centerville, OH, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Paul was born on December 26, 1967 in Dayton, OH to Don Sullenger, PhD and the late Judith (Deck) Sullenger. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1986 where he was very active in their musicals and from Roosevelt University in Chicago with a degree in Musical Theater. Paul had an extensive career in the preforming arts as a singer, dancer and actor for numerous organizations and companies such as Disney, Tokyo and Cunard cruise lines. He belonged to the Actors Equity, loved his musical career in Chicago (He performed many times at the Drury Lane Oakbrook), worked as an event planner, on occasions performing commissions for Wolf Gang Puck and Oprah. Paul enjoyed traveling the world, swimming, skating and playing euchre with Chicago friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith. Paul is survived by his father, Don; brothers, Mark (Jenita) Sullenger and Dr. Bruce (Dr. Rachel Rempel) Sullenger; nieces and nephew, Camilla, James, Rebecca, and Cynthia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Pauls Chicago friends and family who brought him joy through their Facebook posts for the past 6 years following his traumatic brain injury as well as the staff at Woodland Country Manor, especially Donna and Lori for all their wonderful care they gave to Paul. The family will greet friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, OH. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
