Ray A. Cox

COX, Ray Allen, Esq., age 85, of Centerville, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Ray was born on January 28, 1934 in New Goshen, IN to Ervin and Claire (Irwin) Cox. He graduated from Fayette High School in IN and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University. Ray proudly served in the United States Air Force, worked as an attorney for over 50 years in the Dayton area, and was a Lay Minister in Germantown.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ray is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Sue (Miller) Cox; son, Greg, of Centerville, OH; daughter, Stacey Waters, of IN; grandchildren, Olivia (Tyler) Pierce, of IN, Abbie Waters, of IN.

Family will greet friends 9-11am on Thursday, June 27 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave, Centerville with a funeral service beginning at 11am. Burial in David’s Cemetery.
