Raymond Benjamin Vore

VORE, Raymond Benjamin, age 81, of Kettering, formerly Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Raymond was born in Dayton, OH on June 25, 1940 to the late John and Josephine (Dils) Vore.

He was a past member of 1st English Lutheran Church and Patterson Co-Op High School graduate. Raymond served in the U.S.A.F., retiring from Therm-O-Disc as an electrical engineer, where he held several patents in his name. He was a private pilot who labored over rebuilding a Cessna 140 for many months\years until its completion. Raymond also enjoyed HAM Radio and model railroads.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ashley. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gloria (Passwater); children, Kathleen (Stephen) Matheson, John (Michelle) Vore; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Marcella (Bill) Farnham; brother, Marvin Vore; and his loving cat, Taz.
