Richard C Becker

BECKER, Richard C., age 83, of Washington Twp., passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at Kettering Medical Center. Richard served with the United States Marine Corp during WWII where he received a Purple Heart for wounds received in action. He retired from Frigidaire as Plant Manager in 1975 and was a member of the Aces Athletic Club. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary (Gordon) Becker and his daughter, Vicky Becker. Richard is survived by his wife, Charlotte Becker (Norris); 2 daughters, Karen Koperski and Charlene Kneer; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, David and Melissa Becker and Richard and Patty Becker; 4 grandchildren, Jeff Koperski, Amanda Schalz, and Alex and Ashley Becker; and 3 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Marcus, and Christopher Koperski. Memorial mass will take place on Saturday, December 27, 2003, at 1:00 PM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering. Inurnment in David’s Cemetery.
