Robert B. Crew

CREW, Robert B. The family of CREW, Robert B. Age 94, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Miami Valley Hospital. Mr. Crew graduated from Oakwood High School, Northwestern University and Northwestern University Law School. He practiced law continuously in Dayton, Ohio from 1936 until his death. Mr. Crew's wife, Florence L. Crew, passed away June 28, 1990. Mr. Crew is survived by two sons, Robert B. Crew, Jr. and his wife, Diana Crew, and their children Robert B. Crew, III and Katherine R. Crew; and Peter L. Crew and his sons, Peter L. Crew, Jr. and Alexander C. Crew. Mr. Crew was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church; past Chairman of the Board of Miami Valley Hospital; past President of the Dayton Bar Association; Dayton Lawyer's Club; The Hundred Club of Dayton; Forty-Niner's Club and Downtown Dayton Rotary. A private service for the family will be held at Woodland Mausoleum Chapel on July 27, 2006. A memorial service for friends and colleagues will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oakwood on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution to Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, 31 Wyoming Street, Dayton, Ohio 45409.
