Robert G Hoops

HOOPS, Robert G., age 63, of Centerville passed away Sunday, January 23, 2005. Robert was a Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He retired from Delphi after 35 years of service. Robert was an avid lover of automobiles, especially his favorite that he owned, a Camaro. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kay Hoops (Creager); 2 daughters, Melinda (Mark) Adkins of Hilliard, OH and Lisa Hoops of Centerville; 3 sisters, Marian “Marty”, Delores Yordy of Brighton, CO and Mary Lou Stephenson of KY: and 4 brothers, Claude of Jacksonville, FL, Larry of AL, Joe and Tom Hoops, both of Cincinnati; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 28 th at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Dave Harney officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery.
