Robert J. Busch

BUSCH, Robert J, age 95, of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Robert was born to George and Gladys (Sommers) Busch in Chicago, IL on January 22, 1924.

He was a Deacon and Elder at South Presbyterian Church. Robert served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army during WWII. He was an Eagle Scout, past President and Charter Member of Centerville Noon Optimist Club, an Auxiliary Officer for Centerville Police Department, and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Alva; oldest son, William Busch. He is survived by children, John (Sharon), Jeff (Melissa), Linda, Karen Cotton; daughter-in-law, Kathy; grandchildren, Michael (Emily), Steven (Heather), Brian (Christina), Brittany (Will) Roberts, Hunter, Nichole & Bradley Cotton; 5 great-grandchildren.

Family will greet friends Thursday, September 12 5-7pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N Main St, Centerville. Funeral Service will be held the following morning, 10am at the funeral home.
