Robert Joseph Clauss, Jr.

CLAUSS Jr., Robert Joseph age 44, of Kettering, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 19, 2007 as the result of an automobile accident. Rob graduated from Fairmont East High School in 1981 and attended Miami University, Nyack College and Sinclair Community College. He received his black belt in Martial Arts from the Stephen K. Hayes Quest Center and worked for Miami Valley Hospital for 12 years. He loved his sons, the outdoors and animals. Rob is survived by his wife of 13 years, Cathy Clauss; sons, Adam and Aaron Clauss; parents, Pauline and Robert Clauss, Sr.; sister, Becky and Don Cox; mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Sue and Don Brezine and Bill and Dorathea Fortener; brother-in-law, Chris and Lynne Fortener and nieces and nephews, Nathan, Michelle, Gabrielle, Rachel, Joshua, Laurel and Daniel. Rob’s family will receive friends from 5-6pm on Friday, March 23, 2007 in the chapel of Fairhaven Church, 637 E. Whipp Rd., Centerville. A memorial service to celebrate Rob’s life will be held at 6:00 PM with Pastor James Futrell officiating.
