Robyn Lauren Ulrich

ULRICH, Robyn L., age 19, of Springboro, OH passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015 in Columbus, OH, following a fierce battle with AML leukemia. Robyn was born on March 26, 1996 in Kettering, OH. Her enormous spirit found expression and freedom through art, music and especially dance. Recognizing her interest, her family is grateful for the opportunities she received to develop her talent for tap, jazz, interpretive and musical theater styles at several dance schools in the Dayton area, including Miss Wendy's School of Dance, Miss Annette's, Fabulous Talent, Bellbrook Dance Academy, Special Touch Talent, Jeanne Moreland Dance Theatre and Madonna's School of Dance. From recitals to competitions, the love, coaching and friendships she formed through these experiences were an integral part of her personality and soul. Robyn graduated with the class of 2014 from Springboro High School and was attending Bowling Green State University as a sophomore. She was a part of a gospel singing group and enjoyed participating in various theater activities. Her friends and family honor her independent, passionate and fiercely loyal personality, as well as the courage and grace with which she dealt with her battle with cancer. We know she will forever be dancing with angels. Robyn is survived by her parents, John A. and Rebecca Lynn (nee Rhodes) Ulrich; brothers, Kristoffer and Michael; uncle, David (Patti) Rhodes; aunts, Beth Rhodes and Debbie Rhodes and 4 cousins, Megan, Aaron, Chandra and Kali. In accordance with her wishes, the family will celebrate Robyn's life with a brief non-denominational memorial service and reception on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in memory of Robyn Lauren Ulrich to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and/or The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University, or to consider being a blood and/or bone marrow donor to help give the gift of life to those who so are so desperately in need.
