Ronald David Levert

LEVERT, Ronald David, age 70 of Kettering, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. Ron graduated from Midland High School in 1957 and attended Central Michigan University. He served his country in the US Navy and a retired from NCR in 1993 after 30 years of service in Field Engineering. Ron was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Spring Run Trout Club. He was "The Big Guy" who loved his family and enjoyed fishing, genealogy, woodworking and tinkering with electronics. Preceded in death by his parents, David and Lillian LeVert. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 36 yrs, Margaret "Peg" Marchal LeVert; sister, Karen (Michael) Fales of Midland, MI; nieces Cheri Kinney, Gayle Springer, Rachel Mouser, Sarah Marchal Murray and Mary Marchal; nephews Joseph and Christopher Marchal; his special girls, Peggy (Bill) Kirsop, Becca (Dave) Lawless and Lynn Koon; and grandchildren Megan, Matt and Marilyn Kirsop, Nick and Scott Lawless and Emily Jill Koon. The family will greet friends on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH from 6:00 � 8:00PM with testimonials to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering, OH with Father Ron Haft officiating. Burial to follow at Noon at Greenville Union Cemetery, Greeneville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
