Ruth F. Phillips

PHILLIPS, Ruth F. (nee Frank), age 81, of Xenia passed away Monday, January 1, 2007. Ruth was born March 2, 1925 in South Fork, PA. As a young woman, Ruth moved to Cleveland, OH during WWII and worked building military aircraft. She met her husband, Phil Phillips and they raised their family in Kettering, OH. In the late 1950’s, Ruth started working for Rike’s (now known as Macy’s) until her retirement after many years of service. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Floy Frank, infant brother, Amys Frank, son, Robert Phillips; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward (Katherine) Frank, Leon (Lois) Frank, Darrell Frank and Mary Lou Frank. Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Phil Phillips; 4 children and their spouses, Patricia (Thomas) Kincaid, David (Diane), Richard (Lorraine) and Donald (Lilly) Phillips; 9 grandchildren and their spouses, Thomas (Miranda) Kincaid, Michael (Adrienne) Kincaid, Nicole (Nels) Nelson, Jenifer Phillips, Bryan Phillips, Benjamin (Heather) Phillips and Lindsey, Nathan and Lauren Phillips; 4 great-grandchildren, Keith Kincaid, Skylar Nelson, Ryder Nelson and Grace Phillips; brothers, Clair Frank and Blair (Marlene) Frank and sisters-in-law, Virginia McClaran and Phyllis Frank. We will celebrate Ruth Phillips life on Thursday, January 4th with a prayer service at 7:00PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor John Bradosky officiating. Family will receive friends from 5-7:00PM at the funeral home. The entombment and committal service will be in Rose Hill Burial Park, 4781 S. Charleston Rd., Springfield, OH on Friday at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor William McKee officiating.
