Sandra Marlene Thompson

THOMPSON, Sandra Marlene, age 64, passed peacefully on November 30, 2012 at home in Kettering, OH. Sandra was born June 20, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio; the daughter of Albert James Rayburn and Joanna E. (Boardman) Boheringer. Sandra was a graduate of beauty school before becoming a top real estate agent in Sacramento, California. Sandra was an honest, kindhearted woman who always had time to listen and shared words of encouragement to anyone who needed to be lifted up. In 1969, Sandra married the love of her life George Joseph Thompson. They enjoyed 47 wonderful years together traveling the country and raising their two sons, Thomas and Bobby. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack Rayburn. Sandra is survived by her loving husband, George Thompson; sons, Thomas J. (Julie Verne) Thompson of Columbus, OH, and Bobby (Emma) Thompson of Cabot, AR; grandchildren, Taylor, Timothy, Sara, Trever, Addison, Ashlyn, Ashton, and Avery; and sisters, Linda Ronan of Anchorage, AK, and Andrea Bales of FL. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH, 45429, with a reception to follow.
