Sue Ella Giles

GILES, Sue Ella (Osborne), age 89, of Kettering, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Legacy Village Assisted Living Senior Community. Sue was born in Blackwater, VA. She retired from Rikes Kettering and was a longtime devoted member of Fairview Primitive Baptist Church in Bellbrook. Sue was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother (Grandma Susie). She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edgar (Morris) Giles; her parents, Roy E. and Mattie M. Osborne; sister, Eula Ruth Harris; and brother, Donald Osborne. Sue is survived by her sons, Carroll (Janice) and Charles (Pam); grandchildren, Rachael Adkins and Sarah (Ben) Stehouwer, Gary (Julie), Jeff (Holly); great-grandchildren, John, Adam, Katie, Gabe, Gracen and Max Giles, Bradley and Luke Adkins, Charlie, Mary Ella and Jack Stehouwer; sister, Maxine Rowland and many other relatives in OH, VA and TN. The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy Village Assisted Living and Hospice of Dayton for the loving care and treatment during the last years of her life. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Fairview Primitive Baptist Church, 2353 Ferry Rd. Bellbrook, OH 45305. Family will greet friends one hour prior at the church. Burial will be at Fairview Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fairview Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
