Teri Lee Carl

CARL, Teri Lee, age 29, of Moraine, OH, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 1, 2008. Teri graduated from Line Mountain High School in Herndon, PA in 1997. She received her BA degree from Messiah College in Grantham, PA in 2001 and her Master of Music Education Degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH in 2003. Teri worked in the Fayette-Gorham School District in Fayette, OH after graduation from Bowling Green. Teri was working as the music teacher for the Emerson Academy of Dayton and was Musical Director for the Washington Township Town Hall Community Theater and was active in numerous community theaters wherever she lived. Prior to moving to Ohio, Teri attended the Grace Community Church of Herndon, PA being involved in VBS, CEF Missionary work and youth group functions. After moving to the Dayton area she began attending the Cross Creek Community Church in Centerville, OH. Teri was an avid softball player and Penn State fan. Music was a great part of her life whether playing or teaching. Teri is survived by her parents; Terry & Barbara Carl of Herndon, PA, Partner; Jeri Myers of Moraine, OH, Special friend, her puppy, "Tanner", maternal grandparents; Dorothy & George Gavason of Sunbury, PA, great aunt Phyllis Fisher- Neitz & husband Donald Neitz of Northumberland, PA, paternal grandparents; Daniel & Betty Carl of Herndon, PA, aunt; Julie and husband Ernest Schreffler of Dalmatia, PA, and a host of other family members and friends. Memorial services will be held 7 PM Friday, Dec. 5, 2008 at the Emerson Academy of Dayton, 501 Hickory St. Dayton, OH 45410 with Pastor Michael D. Castle officiating. The family will receive friends at the school on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, from 5 to 7 PM prior to service time.
