Theresia Schuster

SCHUSTER, Theresia, age 82, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Theresia was born to the late Josef and Eva (nee Krewedl) Riffert on March 8, 1931 in Ruma, Yugoslavia. She was a kind hearted woman who enjoyed volunteering her time crocheting items for her family, the homeless, veterans and local nursing homes. Theresia loved being a part of the Knitting Club at One Lincoln Park. Her family will always remember her as a wonderful Hausfrau, cook, and baker who took great pride in all she did for her home and family. Theresia was one of the first volunteers at Hospice of Dayton and was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church and Liederkrantz German Club. She is survived by her husband, Franz; son, Guenter Anton (Claire) Schuster; daughters, Helga Maria (Tom) Miller and Barbara Eva (Tony) Jones; grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, Karl, Colleen, Grace, Spencer, Addison, and Daralyne; great-grandchildren, Ava and Mabel Alice; step-brothers, Paul, Josef and Stefan Riffert; and special nephew, Tony (Lydia) Schuster. Family will greet friends for a visitation from 9:00-11:00am on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering. A memorial service will be immediately following at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In memory of Theresia, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
