Thomas Joseph Coyle

COYLE, Thomas J., of Kettering, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the age of 88. Born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on December 14, 1923, he was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Rose Coyle; brother, Jerome; and son-in-law, Robert Dudick. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara (nee Friar); children, Thomas M. (Pamela), Patricia Dudick, and John (Rebecca); grandchildren, Travis, Sarah (Derek) Scott, Daniel and Emma; great-granddaughter, Isobel Scott; and the family cats, Pal and Skippy. He is also survived by his brother, James; sister, Marcella; sister-in-law, Eileen Coyle; and nieces and nephews. Tom was employed with the NCR Corporation for 42 years, and enjoyed many outdoor activities during his retirement. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00pm on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Monday, April 2, 2012 at The Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering. Burial at David's Cemetery.
