Timothy William Thompson

THOMPSON, Timothy W., 36, of New Lebanon, OH passed away on Tuesday, July 15 at Miami Valley Hospital after injuries sustained in a car accident on July 1, 2008. Tim was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the National Guard, where he served in S.W. Asia and Kuwait. He was a 1989 graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School. Tim worked as mail handler for the United States Postal Service. He was a baseball coach for the NLYA Little League team and volunteered with the Midwest Boston Terrier rescue group. Tim was preceded in death by his grandfathers and grandmothers; Anna Thompson and Sara Henry. He is survived by his wife, Danielle Thompson and son, Brendan Miller; mother, Judy (Richard) Henn; father, Terry Thompson; sister, Christina (Gary) Dennis; nieces and nephews, D.J., Samantha, Andrew, Dylan, Cody; several aunts and uncles, including his Uncle Tim, after who Tim is named and a host of other special family members and friends. Tim's family will receive friends from 12noon-3PM and 5-8:00PM on Friday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00PM with Pastor Jay Madigan officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery.
