Tony Reynoso

June 17, 1953 — January 8, 2022

REYNOSO, Tony Jr., passed away peacefully with loved ones at his side at the age of 68, on Saturday, January 8, 2022.Tony was born on June 17, 1953, to Tony Sr. and Adelina Reynoso, in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Caprock high school before attending Amarillo College. While attending college, Tony met and married the love of his life, Debbie, in 1977. Shortly after, Tony and Debbie relocated to the Dayton area when he took a job as an engineer tech at the Mound Research Center, where he retired after 20 years of service.

Tony was an avid sports fan. When he could make the UD games he was there. He was a Flyer faithful and met their Naismith Award-winning player, Obi Toppin. Tony loved to watch football, especially Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame. He always talked about former Texas Longhorns and Houston Oilers player, Earl Campbell. He loved watching Nascar with his kids and grandsons, as well as Golf. Tony loved to go fishing with his father-in-law and family, and enjoyed trips to go to the beach with his family. Tony was happiest when he was able to spend time with all of his grandchildren, children, and family.

He is preceded in death by his father Tony Reynoso Sr.; mother-in-law Patricia Erwin “Patty”; and son, Jason Reynoso. Tony is survived by his mom, Adelina Reynoso; wife of 44 years and best friend Debbie (Erwin) Reynoso; daughter Michelle (Eric) Ball; son, Matthew (Stephanie) Reynoso; grandchildren, whom he loved very much, Devin, Sean, Eric Jr., Ethan and Anthony; siblings, Richard (Minerva) Reynoso, Velma (Birdy) Llamas, Stella (Archie) Maes, and twin brother, Tommy (Marie) Reynoso; Father-in-law, Dr. William Erwin; in-laws, Dr. Bill (Lee) Erwin, David (Barb) Erwin, Steve (Claudia) Erwin, and Mark (Betty) Erwin; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation will be held from 3-5pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH, 45429. A Catholic service will be held at 5pm, also at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Kidney Foundation, or the American Heart Association.
