Virginia "Ginny" Hunkeler

HUNKELER, Virginia "Ginny" Lee, age 79, of Centerville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Ginny was born to the late Robert M. and Hilda (nee Rich) Glaser on April 16, 1936 in Dayton, OH. She graduated from Julienne High School. Ginny enjoyed spending time with her family and dogs as well as being outdoors including water skiing until she was 72 years old. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Leo; children, Jennifer Lee (Kent) Maley and Deborah Lee (John) Fortini; grandchildren, Nicholas, Allison and Thomas; brother, Robert (Judy) Glaser and lifelong friends and coherts in mischief, Fred and Nancy Bell. Family will greet friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E, Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike Dayton, OH. Burial at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 31 W. Whipp Rd. Dayton, OH 45459.
