Wayne Lee Chessman

December 3, 1944 — July 12, 2000

CHESSMAN, Wayne Lee, age 55, of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2000. He served with the U.S. Air Force. Wayne was employed at Local 82 for 22 years and was an electrician for General Motors Truck Plant for the last 6 years. He was a member of the Eagles in Beavercreek. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Survived by his wife of 18 years, Carolyn; son, Terry Chessman of Kettering; stepson, Shane Grubb of Dayton; brother, Bruce Chessman and wife, Nancy of Beavercreek; sister, Geraldine Chessman of Scottsbluff NE; and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. The family will greet friends Friday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.
