Willetta Ruth Meeker

MEEKER, Willetta R., “Billie” age 89, formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield. She was born in Winchester, VA July 29, 1917. Billie was preceded in death by her loving husband, W. Don Meeker, Sr. in 1993. She is survived by son, William D. Meeker, Jr. and Fran Hand of Tampa, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Jack Howe of Dayton and daughter, Peggy McDowell of Hendersonville, NC; 5 grandchildren, Michael and Kathy Howe of Kettering, Doug and Angela McDowell of Mt. Holly, NC, Judy and Kevin Pepera of St. Charles, IL, Mindy and Mack Robinson of Brentwood, TN, and Lesley and Scott Drerup of Centerville; 9 great-grandchildren, Kateri Scott, Courtney Luckett, Caroline and Ty McDowell, Meghan and Jake Robinson, Cameron and Paige Pepera and William Drerup; 2 great-great grandchildren, Brayden Scott and Samantha Luckett. Billie had been a member of #15 Bara Court and had been the last surviving member of SOS Club of Kiser High School class of 1937. The family would like to thank all her caregivers, especially Tim. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Masonic Home Chapel, Springfield, OH with Rev Howard Benson officiating. Burial in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 9-11:00 AM at the Masonic Chapel in Springfield prior to service time. In memory of “Billie” contributions may be made to The American Red Cross P. O.
