William G. Carlisle

CARLISLE, William G. “Bill”, age 54, a nine year resident of Oakwood, peacefully passed away Tuesday, November 4, at Hospice of Dayton after a battle with metastatic cancer. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Oakwood. His career of thirty plus years was in the paper industry. At the time of his passing, he was employed as Midwest Sales Manager for Torraspapel, USA. Bill is survived by his wife, Kathryn; his daughter and son-in-law, Amy (Carlisle) Craig and Bill Craig of Denver CO; and his son, Brian Carlisle of Exeter, NH. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Bill also leaves behind his mother, Lillian Carlisle, and 3 brothers, Robert, Richard and Ronald Carlisle and their families. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12:00 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 33 W. Dixon Ave., Oakwood with interment following at David’s Cemetery. Family will greet friends Thursday from 5-8:00 PM and Friday, 10:30-11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420 or St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 33 W. Dixon, Oakwood, OH 45419.
