CROFTS, William L. “Bill”, age 73, of Springboro, OH, formerly of, Lowell, MA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Bill was born on July 16, 1947 to the late Clyde and Margaret (Wilkins) Crofts in Beverly, MA. After graduating high school, Bill immediately enlisted with the United States Army, and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. After finishing his tour in Vietnam he returned to the Washington D.C area where he continued his service as a military police officer. Throughout his life he had a strong connection to his faith, and was a member of both First Church of Danvers as well as Calvary Baptist Church in Lowell. Bill was both a devoted follower and served as both Deacon and leader at Calvary Baptist, during his 30+ year membership. In his free time he could often be found reading, and was especially fond of American history. Above all he was a beloved husband, father, and friend, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara Crofts; and son Matthew Crofts.

Bill is remembered by his daughters, Erica (Adam) Crofts, and Rebecca (Rob) Van; grandchildren, Samantha, Ashlyn, Lillian, and Aurora; siblings, Bob (Dianne) Crofts, Nancy Hayes, and John (Kris) Crofts.

A private family scattering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to PTSD Foundation of America.
