William Patrick Obrien

OBRIEN, W. Patrick, age 67, of Centerville passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. He was born on April 25, 1945 in Omaha, NE to the late William and Harriet OBrien. Patrick attended University of Nebraska. He worked for 36 years at NCR until his retirement. Patrick enjoyed re-finishing old furniture, gardening, reading and working on his puzzles. He played bridge for almost 40 years with his dearest friends. Patrick will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Patrick is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Rose; children, Sean Patrick OBrien of Cincinnati, OH, Jill (Corey) Neal of Round Rock, TX and Shannon (Brian) Stehman of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Patrick, Emmett and Henry Neal and Paige Stehman; sister, Terrie (Tom) Plummer; and his faithful companion, his dog Max. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. The family invites friend to visit with them after the memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420 or to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, 1661 Nicholas Rd., Dayton, OH 45417. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Dayton for all their care and compassion.
