William Ryan Ferneding

FERNEDING, William Ryan, age 59, passed away on April 3, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents John C. Ferneding and Ada Ryan Ferneding of Oakwood; and his sister Kathleen Ferneding. He is supported and survived by his wife Sue; and daughters Elizabeth, Samantha, and Caroline; siblings Nancy (Colin) Campbell, Kay (Mike) Tenenbaum, Joan (Mike) Smith, John (Julie) Ferneding, Dan (Mary) Ferneding, and Anita (Dan) Mangin; 22 nieces and nephews; 4 great nieces. Bill was a graduate of Alter High School '69, Georgetown University '73 and received his MBA from The University of Dayton '83. Bill was a dedicated and loyal employee of The Berry Company for 34yrs. He devoured life and enjoyed his time recruiting students for Georgetown University, dedicating time to the UD School of Business as an Alumni Leadership Council member and an SBA Ambassador, socializing with the 39ers, and golfing at Walnut Grove Country Club with an abundance of friends. Bill will always be remembered for his wealth of family, wit, work ethic, charm and zest for life, with a good drink and cigar in hand. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 4:00-8:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 8 at 12 noon at St. Albert the Great. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
