SCHILL, Beverly Ann “Bev”, age 78, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton.
Bev graduated from Bowling Green University with Honors in 1961 with a degree in education and worked at Good Samaritan Hospital for over 25 years and also at Life Stages.
She was a volunteer at the Dayton Dog Training Club and was a judge for numerous years in the 4H dog show program. Bev was also an AKC evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen and Star Puppy Program. Her love for dogs was known to all and she showed her beloved Bouviers since the 1980’s. Bev has belonged to St. Albert the Great Parish for over 50 years and was a regular at the 4:30pm Mass on the chapel side.
Bev is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Schill and her parents and in-laws. She is survived by her son, Chris (Melissa); daughters, Cathy “Muffie” and Caryn “Pies”; grandchildren, Tiffany (Nat), Brittany, Adam (Kelly), and Allie Marie; great-grandchild, Spartacus; cousins, Joanne (Don) Reiss and Richard (Nancy) Palicka; her beloved Bouvier des Flandres, Babka; and very special family friends, Marcie and Melroy Pottinger of Louisville, KY.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. Albert the Great Parish, 3033 Far Hills Avenue, Kettering. Burial will follow at David’s Cemetery in Kettering.
