Andrew James Wissman

WISSMAN, Andrew J. (Andy), of Beavercreek, Ohio died October 27, 2019, just three days short of his fortieth birthday. Andy was born in San Antonio, Texas to Dale Wissman and Nancy Grieshop. His keen wit, sense of humor, and love of family were hall marks of his life.

Andy was married to Amy Moore of Beavercreek. His two children, Andrew Tyler, and Lindsay Rose are the spark that gave his life meaning. He loved every minute he could spend with them. Andy always loved sports. He started playing softball in first grade and continued
on and off through this past summer. Andy’s favorite football teams were The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals. He and his dad spent many weekends watching the games and rooting these teams on.

Andy worked as a Quality Engineer for many years at Wright Patterson Air Force
Base. In recent years, he struggled with some medical conditions including diabetes. He succumbed to death at Kettering Health Center where he was treated for an injury at a work site.

Andy was preceded in death by his brother, Eric F. Wissman, Sr. He is survived by his children, Andrew Tyler and Lindsay Rose; as well as his parents Dale Wissman and Nancy Grieshop; his sister Jennifer Creamer, and her husband Jamie, as well as six nieces and nephews, and many uncles, aunts and cousins. Andy will be sorely missed by so many people who shared his life.

Family will greet friends 5-7pm on Friday, November 1 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering with Loyal Order of Moose Services at 7ish. Funeral Services will be held 10am on Saturday, November 2 at Routsong Funeral Home with a family reception to follow the service at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #73, 1134 Richfield Center, Beavercreek, OH 45430.
