Anthony "Tony" Louis Braun

May 8, 1959 — January 11, 2022

BRAUN, Anthony (Tony) Louis, 62, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, mentor, and friend went home to his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born May 8, 1959, in Springfield Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Burl and Jeannie (Parks) Braun, and brothers Courtney and Michael Braun. Tony is survived by his wife and soulmate Elizabeth (Poshadel) Braun, and their children Rachel (Drew) Napier, Nicholas (Nick) Braun, and Anthony Joseph (AJ) Braun; brothers, Brian (Angie) Braun, and Douglas (Kelly) Braun; sisters, Dixie Fisher (Monty), Margo Camden (Fred), and Kelly Whitehouse (Jim), and a close extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Tony was self-employed with Primerica since 1996 as a National Sales Director where he developed multiple offices and received numerous awards and honors, including MVP of the company twice. Tony’s leadership also extended to the community where he served on the Steering Committee to help build St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Springboro.

As a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, Tony was an amazing family man, and fierce patriot! His life philosophy was to love God, family, country, and to share something positive with everyone God placed in his path. As a successful business owner, Tony was a gifted leader, mentor, and encourager, not only to his family but to hundreds of partners, associates, and clients in business and his community.

Those that knew Tony know how proud he was of his family and loved spending time with them. He was excited to have his daughter, Rachel, and son-in-law, Drew, enter his business and helped develop them professionally to continue his legacy. He also enjoyed watching his sons, Nick and AJ, play basketball as well as compete in cards, was an avid Las Vegas Raiders fan, and a movie and music buff.

Tony was selfless and always helped others. He encouraged not only the people who knew him, but EVERY person he came in contact with! His engaging, infectious smile, along with words of encouragement, optimism, hope, and challenge blessed everyone he met and literally changed the lives of many. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in his family and all of those whose lives he touched. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited with him in heaven.
