Betty Lou Long

LONG, Betty Lou, age 85, of Kettering and Deland, FL, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Kettering Medical Center. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Harvest Chapter. Betty Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 1991, parents, Harold and Goldye Borden; brother, Robert Borden and sister, Mary Ellen Graham. She is survived by her son, Jerry and his wife, Elaine of Kettering; grandchildren, Stacy and Scott Melling, Kristopher and Kerri Long, Jamey and Annette Webb, Tisha and John Kemp; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Melissa Melling, Logan, Sidney and Shelby Kemp, Chloe and Noah Webb; extended family, Richard and Linda Wagner; special friends, Jim and Nancy Bramlage and Rick and Tracey Pestian; several nieces and one nephew. Betty Lou was loved by all because she touched so many lives in Florida and Ohio. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Entombment in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
