Beverly M. Snell

SNELL, Beverly M., age 87, of Kettering passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born on October 2, 1925 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Harland and Mildred Krotts. She graduated from Fairview High School and attended Faith Lutheran Church where she was a part of the Altar Guild. Beverly was a member of Harvest Chapter OES and dedicated over 10, 000 hours volunteering for Kettering Medical Center. She had many collections including her little water pitchers, match books from all over the world and she kept every Christmas card that anyone has ever sent to her. Beverly loved reading her morning news paper and traveling the U.S. She was particularly fond of Hawaii and Alaska. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Elwood "Woody" Snell; children, Debbie Frazier of Canal Winchester, OH and Doug Snell of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Scott, Matt, Brodey and Bonnie; brother, Dr. Dan (Barbara) Krotts, Jr. of Bellbrook, OH; and many other dear friends. Family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 also at the funeral home with Pastor Steven Kimpel officiating. Burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
