Chester Albert Meyer

MEYER, Chester Albert "Chet", age 84, of Kettering passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Chet was born to the late Albert and Mary (Killian) Meyer on August 12, 1928 in Sandusky, Ohio. He graduated from Case Institute of Technology with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1962. Chet worked for 10 years at NCR and later retired from Stanhope Products. He had a love for old cars, sports, fishing, boating on Lake Erie at his boat house, and most of all his dogs. Chet is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Jane C. Meyer, and his cousin Charles Williams. The family will greet friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering with the Celebration of Life following at 2:00pm.
