Colleen Ann Farney

FARNEY, Colleen A., born in Dayton, OH on March 30, 1949, to the late Harold and Charlene Farney, and passed away at Daysprings in Enon, OH on December 2, 2014. Colleen was single and is survived by her brothers, Drs. Tim and Lynn Farney of New Carlisle, OH and Mark and Linda Farney of Dayton, OH; nieces and nephews, Shannon Farney, Matthew Farney and Elizabeth (Michael) Maxson; and great-niece and nephew, Darcy Kay and Issac Harold. Colleen was a loving daughter, a wonderful sister and sister-in-law and a doting aunt. She graduated from Immaculate Conception School and Patterson Co-op in 1967 and her working career included years at Duriron, Pitney-Bowes, Monarch Marking and Paxar. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Comfort Keepers (Connie), 10 Wilmington Place, Dayspring and Hospice of Miami Valley for their care of our sister. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 9 from 6-8pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering. A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception, 2300 Smithville Rd. Dayton, OH 45420 on Dec 10, 2014 at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Hospice in Colleens's memory.
