PAVLIGA, Connie L. (nee Putnam), age 61, of Centerville, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015.
Connie was preceded in death by the love of her life, best friend and husband, Jim in 2008.
She is survived by her children, Christina Pavliga of Kettering, OH and Nick and his wife Lindsay of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Tyler and Kalik. Connie is also survived by her brothers, Jim, Jack, Tom and David Putnam; sisters, Jeanne Ponziani, Jonelle Norman and Pat Stolfo and many nieces and nephews.
Her life was dedicated to her family. Connie volunteered as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader for many years, served on the Centerville School's PTOs for twelve years, and volunteered as an academic volunteer at Ascension and Centerville schools. She was a member of CHS Moms of '02 and also served on the Centerville Property Maintenance Task Force. Connie was strong in her faith and believed that it was her faith that got her through the struggle of losing Jim. She was a firm believer in honesty and strong work and moral ethics. Connie wants to be remembered for her devotion and love for Jim, her children and grandchildren, and her loyalty to her dear friends.
You may visit Connie and her family on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 5:00-8:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr. Kettering on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 10:30am. A burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Thelma Putnam, and her parents'-in-law, Stephen and Dorothy Pavliga.
