Doris A Smith

SMITH, Doris A., age 78, of Centerville, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017. Doris was born on March 13, 1939 in Hazard, KY to the late William and Elizabeth Turner, and graduated from Fairview High School in 1958. She was a long time member of Centerville United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing bingo. Doris is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, George Smith, along with their children: Cheryl (Brad) Kenney, Steven (Cheryl) Smith and Michael (Knicole) Smith. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Laura and Kristin Sooy, Sophie and Max Smith, Riley and Madeline Smith; two sisters, Lorraine Hunt and Ann Lillie along with numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, April 1, 2017 Routsong Funeral Home, 81 North Main Street, Centerville. A visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, prior to the service. The family wishes to thank the staff at Southview Hospital for the love and attention given to Doris and to the medical staff of Washington Township Station 41 for their excellent care that Doris received.
