Dorothy E. Baumann

BAUMANN, Dorothy Jane Ellis, age 93, of Centerville, OH passed away, Wednesday, February18, 2004 at Lodge Care Center in Loveland. Dorothy was a member of Fairmont Presbyterian Church. She received her Bachelor of Music degree at Ohio Weslyan University in 1931 and her Masters of Science of Education degree at the University of Dayton in 1965. Dorothy was a counselor for Dayton City Schools, a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority and the Daughters of the American Revolution, Dayton Chapter. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Carl Baumann who she married on July 11, 1936 in Lima, OH; sons, John Ellis Baumann and his wife, Lenore of Liberty Twp, OH and James Robert Baumann and his wife, Susan of Mason, OH; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Rev. David Bickett officiating. Family will greet friends Friday evening from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Miami Valley Memorial Gardens.
