E. Jean Archdeacon

ARCHDEACON, E. Jean, age 88, of Dayton, passed away on February 2, 2016. Jean was born on September 5, 1927 in Dayton, OH to the late Forrest and Rachael (nee Young) Tudor. She was an avid volunteer at schools, churches and in the community, but most of all she loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Bob and son, Dan Archdeacon. Jean is survived by sons, Jim Archdeacon of Dayton, OH, Bill (Carolyn) Archdeacon of Evergreen, CO; daughter, Becca (Dan) Houser of Columbus, OH; and daughter-in-law, Mara Saule of Burlington, VT; grandchildren, Erin (Jeff) Wiles, Megan (David) Ketover, Jacqueline, Tālis, and Nick Archdeacon, Emily, Kayla, Robert, and Rachael Houser; great-grandchildren, Josh and Avery Wiles; and sister-in-law, Betty Ullery of Dayton, OH. Services will be private. Burial will follow at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
