Edward L. Harrod

age, 59, (formerly of Dayton) of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2003. Edward was a member of Christ Community Church , Indiana. He graduated from General Motors Institute as a mechanical engineer and worked 28 years for General Motors in Dayton, then later with Link Manufacturing in Iowa. Edward was also a member of the Lions Club in Sioux Center, Iowa. Survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Pat; 2 sons, Kipp Martines of Murfreesboro, TN and John Harrod of Eden Prairie, MN; daughter, Anna Harrod of Murfreesboro, TN; 2 grandchildren; sister, Carla Bremer of Strongsville, OH; parents, James and Pauline Harrod of Strongsville, OH; and a nephew, David Brown of Dayton. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 6, 2003, 2:00 PM at David’s United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Rd., Kettering, with Rev. William Youngkin officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
