March 12, 1980 — January 16, 2015

ELI BRANDON EVERHART, age 34 of Riverside, Ohio, passed away on January 16, 2015. Born in Xenia, Ohio, he graduated from North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas, attended the North Texas Fire Academy, and worked in the construction and roofing field with his father for the bulk of his precious life. He was a devoted family man who loved fishing and 4-wheeling with his sons, watching them play sports, and coaching their T-Ball league. His proudest moments was when his eldest son, Blayne E. was selected to play championship flag-football at Paul Brown Stadium, the birth of his youngest son, Logan B., and his wife's, Nicole, acceptance into nursing school. He also enjoyed motorcycles, OSU, Cowboys and University of Texas Longhorn sports, his 4 best canine friends, Chance, Shyne, Bella and Puddin Pop (Tank), and bragging about and posting photos of his family and their accomplishments. In addition to his sons, he is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Smiley Everhart, of Riverside, Ohio; his father, Kenneth Everhart and his wife Wanda Everhart of Terrell, Texas;his mother, Becky Foley Rector and her husband Timothy Rector of Kettering, Ohio; step mother Cindy Humerick Marlin of Rockwall, Texas; 2 grandmothers, Lois Foley and June Everhart, both of Xenia, Ohio; 2 sisters, Shannon Foley and her husband Sheldon Gatland of Centerville, Ohio, and Kelli Dubay and her partner Heather Fannin of Centerville, Ohio; one brother, Noah Everhart of Rockwall, Texas; 2 step-sisters, Korrin Foley of Kettering, Ohio and Gloria Paz of Plano, Texas; one niece, Addison Gatland;3 nephews, Raymond Gatland, and Zachary and Isaiah Dubay; his mother and father-in-laws, Pamela Weber of Orange Beach, Florida and James Harry, Jr. and his wife Mitzi Smiley of Monroe, Georgia; brother and sister-in-laws, Blake Smiley of Social Circle, Georgia and Lindsay and her husband David Shumpert of Atlanta, Georgia; grand mother-in-law, Joann and her husband Max Smith of Bradenton, Florida; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Orville Everhart, Jr. and Max Foley, both of Xenia, Ohio and his grandfather in-law, James Harry Smiley, Sr. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20. 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, Ohio, followed by a Memorial Service on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11a.m. at the Apostolics of Xenia Church, 978 Route 42, Xenia, Ohio.
