Hirselj, Emil, 71, of Centerville passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Emil was born October 8, 1945 in Austria and came to the United States in 1951. He, his mother, and 2 brothers settled in Cleveland, Ohio and were members of St. Vitus parish.
Emil graduated from Benedictine High School in 1963. After serving in the United States Navy, he attended Cleveland State University and received a B.S. in Accounting in 1972.
Emil married Ann Zevnik in April, 1969 and had 4 children. The Hirseljs moved to Centerville in 1975. Emil started his own business, Micro Base Corporation, in 1977. Micro Base became, and is presently known as, Inti Technologies.
Emil was an avid sports fan and golfer. He coached his children's soccer and baseball teams as they were growing up. His favorite sports teams were the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns. He was a longstanding member of Sugar Valley Country Club in Bellbrook, Ohio.
Emil was preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Selic and his brothers Viktor and Eddy Hirsel. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann, 4 children Mark (married to Melanie), Rebecca, Daniel, and David (married to Robin), and grandchildren Drew, Morgan, and Vinko.
