Enez Ransom Chambers

CHAMBERS, Enez R., age 72, of Dayton passed away September 3, 2003 at Hospice of Dayton. Enez was very active at Westminster Presbyterian Church as a choir member, in the Van Cleve Elementary Tutoring Program, as an Ordained Elder, as a Moderator of the Westminster Presbyterian Women and as Circle II leader. Enez was also active in the Miami Presbytery, as member of several committees and as chair of the Discipleship and Worship committee and was a member of the Dayton Women’s Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Chambers in 1999 and her sister, Virginia Ransom Coker. She is survived by 1 son, Christopher Worgan (Brenda) Chambers of Austin, TX; 2 daughters, Jennifer (David) Chambers Vicarel of Dayton, OH and Melissa Enez Chambers, of Atlanta, GA; 3 grandchildren, Megan, Daniel and Jonathan Vicarel; sister, Margaret R. (Edward) Ball of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Don E. Ransom of Livingston, TX; sister-in-law, Doris Chambers Coulon, IA; brother-in-law, Larry W. Coker of SC; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held, Saturday, September 6, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 125 N. Wilkinson St., Dayton, with Rev. Kay Davis-Dudding officiating. A reception will follow at the church. A private inurnment in Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum.
