Eugene Ralph Lundy

LUNDY, Eugene (Gene) R., a wonderful father, age 81, of Kettering, Ohio has left this world to go to paradise on Friday, December 16, 2022. He was born on August 16, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late James Patrick and Margaret Ethel (Smith) Lundy.

Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Almeda L. Lundy and brother, James Lundy. He is survived by sons, Robert (Pam) Lundy, Michael Lundy, Paul (Patti) Lundy; step sons, Kenneth Meeks and David (Leigh Ann) Meeks; ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Gene worked at General Motors for 30 years. He was a devoted Catholic and attended St. Albert the Great Church. Gene was a loving man to his family, friends, and most of all, to God. His sons were the center of universe. There was never a dull moment when they were together and the laughter never ended. Gene loved playing cards, putt putt, camping, going tubing and boating with his sons, family gatherings, and cook outs. He was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at St. Albert the Great on Far Hills Ave., Kettering, Ohio on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 with a Mass of Christian Father Pat Welsh will be officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, December 28 at 12:00PM at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul’s Hotel.
