Gail Elizabeth Benson

BENSON, Gail Elizabeth (nee Smith), age 76, of Haddonfield, NJ passed away on March 16, 2013. Beloved wife of Dr. Charles E.; Loving mother of Deborah Elizabeth Quigley (Thomas) of Haddonfield, NJ and Charles N. (Karen Lee) of Chicago, IL; Dear grandmother of Sean Quigley; Sister of Margaret Hoffman (Roy) and Aunt of Stephen and Thomas Hoffman. Mrs. Benson graduated from Collingswood HS in 1955, Penn. Hos. School of Nursing in 1957 and Franklin College in 1960. Gail utilized her nursing skills in a variety of ways: she taught nursing, was a school nurse of the Barrington School district, was the camp nurse for the Pine Hill Scout Reservation and other scouting events and camps. She had been an activate member of the First Baptist Church of Haddonfield, participating in the Choir and teaching Sunday School. She was also a member of the Fortnightly EMD, the Delta Zeta Alumni Chapter and the Haddonfield Lions Club. She volunteered for the Election Day Polls and numerous other community activities. Mrs. Benson's family will receive friends on Wed. March 20th, 10-10:45 AM; at the First Baptist Church of Haddonfield, 126 E. Kings Hwy., Haddonfield, NJ; where her Service will follow at 11 AM.
