Genevieve Dorothy Meixner

MEIXNER, Genevieve D., age 95, of Kettering, went to be with her beloved husband on his 100th birthday on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Genevieve attended Memorial United Church of Christ and later attended Fairhaven Church. She also volunteered at Lathrem Senior Center for over 26 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Meixner; daughter, Joanie; parents, Herman and Murnie Pummill; brothers, Harold and Herman Thomas, Jr. and sister, Geraldine Lindsey. She is survived by her daughter Patty Meixner of Kettering; son, Michael J. Meixner of Kettering and his children Zach, Kori, Kelly, and Krystal; great-grandchildren, Zach Jr. and Allison; foster daughter, Pam Thompson and her children Alexis, Asia, Dylan, and Dakota; sister, Joyce Buchan; brother, Richard (Dolores) Pummill; sister-in-law, Caroline Pummill and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Dayton for all their wonderful care. Family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 18, 2012 also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
