Harold L Williams

WILLIAMS, Harold L., age 94, passed away on Sunday, July 08, 2007. He was the son of J. Harry Williams and Ella Lincoln Williams. Born in Miami, Florida on April 6, 1913 and moved to Dayton in 1919. He attended Garfield Elementary School, Roosevelt High School, the YMCA night school and the University of Dayton. Harold served in the United States Army as a Master Sergeant during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Morgan Williams in December 1991 and his sister Mabel Galloway. Harold is survived by his daughters, Ellen (Allen) Specht, Deborah Mantz, Margaret (Mark) Westall and Amy (Cris) Wadham; son, Stephen Williams; sisters, Helen Ruiter of Oregon and 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville at 1:00 PM with Pastor William B. Browning officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dayton VA Hospice 4100 W.
