Irene Jacobson

JACOBSON, Irene, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 17, 2004, one week after her 100th birthday. Irene was a graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Chicago, IL and worked at Good Samaritan Hospital for 18 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Francis Jacobson. Survived by her three daughters and son-in-law, Patricia (Richard) Palmer, Emily Luhn and Mary Ann Howe; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and special friend, Betty Robbins. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday at St. Joseph’s Church, 411 E. Second St. Dayton with Father Louis Osterhage, C.PP.S officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM, Wednesday at Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave., Oakwood, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. The family would like to thank the staff of the Suites of Walnut Creek for their kind and thoughtful care of their mother. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hotel, 212 W. Fifth St. Dayton, OH 45402.
