Joyce Ann Lee

LEE, Joyce Ann, age 66 of Kettering, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013. Joyce was born August 21, 1946 in Hampton, IA to the late Mitchell and Ida Mae (Bessman) Bock. She received her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Wright State University and retired from MVCDC after 14 years of dedicated service. Joyce was a very active member of David's United Church of Christ. She was very generous with her time and talents, volunteering at the Little Exchange, the Therapeutic Riding Institute (TRI), and the schools her grandchildren attended. Joyce loved traditions and was a very caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dennis M. Lee; daughters, Michelle Ann (Eric) Daniel of Columbus, OH and Anne Elizabeth (Andrew) Jones of Oakwood, OH; grandchildren, Ellie and Ian Jones and Harper and Duke Daniel; brother, James Bock; and sisters, Jean McBreen and Jo Duncan. A memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, March 16 at David's United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Rd., Kettering with Rev. Dr. Brian Newcomb officiating. Family will greet friends at a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to David's United Church of Christ. The family wishes to thank the David's church community and all their friends for the wonderful support they have received.
